Who we are

Equality Approach Uganda is one of such innovations, which started as a Christian street outreach in 1998 under the leadership of a Comboni Priest, and later registered as an NGO on 30th Jan 2020 with community groups currently spread in 8 districts of Uganda. As a Christian organization we value love and fairness; our Vision ‘A Community of Fairness’ , ensures that the vulnerable are included and treated with fairness, Our core strength is in partnership and the commitment of our volunteers and beneficiaries to ensure fairness within their respective reach.

We work to support vulnerable communities especially Persons with Disabilities and Elderly persons to collectively and individually advance household developments, gender justice, human rights and social justice to achieve a world in which all are fairly treated in achieving equitable relationships and exploitation of their full potential. Through our country-level and district networks, EAU provides a collective voice on the need to change the status quo of the disabled and elderly within the respective communities, hence engaging beneficiaries to actively contribute in decisions that affects them, advocating to influence policies at the local, national, regional and international levels.

Equality Approach Uganda capacity is strengthened by the commitment of the volunteers/staffs and the partners with whom we share the passion of inclusion of the vulnerable.
